Terms of use for all users

By using our application, you accept these terms; please read them carefully.

Interpretation

In these Terms of Service:

• We refer to our application as "Revent", even when accessed through a mobile device or web browser.
• References to "we", "our" or "us" are references to Revent (company registration in progress), the operator of Revent.
• "Content" refers to any material uploaded to Revent by any user, including the event information, inputs, text, metadata, images and any other material of any kind.
• "Event Organizer" refers to a user who created an event on Revent.
• By "attendee" we mean a user who has a ticket or has registered for an event created by an event organizer in Revent.
• "User" means any user of Revent, whether you are an event organizer, an attendee, or both (also referred to as "you" or "your").

Changes to the terms of service

We may change any part of the Terms of Service under the following circumstances:

• To reflect changes in laws and regulatory requirements that apply to Revent and its services.
• To address imminent legal or security issues, including protecting Revent or its users from fraud, data breaches or other cybersecurity risks.

We may also make changes to any part of the Terms of Service and will provide you with reasonable notice of such changes by email or through Revent. Once the updated Terms of Service are in effect, you will be bound by them if you continue to use Revent.

Account registration

To use Revent, you must first register and create a user account. You must provide a valid email address, username and password. Your password must be unique and comply with our technical requirements for passwords.

• Age requirement: you must be at least 18 years old to use Revent.
• You must not be banned from accessing our platform under any law that applies to you.
• You agree that any registration information you submit to Revent is true, accurate and complete, and you will keep it updated at all times.

Commitments when using Revent

When you sign up for and use Revent, you make the following commitments:

• You will ensure that all information you submit to us is true and up to date.
• You agree to receive our communications electronically, including emails and messages posted to your account.
• You will keep your account details confidential and secure, and you will notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
• You are responsible for all of your account activity, even if it occurs without your permission.

Suspension or cancellation of your account

We reserve the right to suspend or cancel your account for any reason, including if you:

• Violate these Terms of Service or any part of our Acceptable Use Policy.
• Engage in actions that harm the reputation of Revent or its users.

If your account is canceled, we may delete any content associated with your account. You will no longer have access to your content and there is no possibility to recover it after the account termination.

Content ownership and licenses

You confirm that you are the owner of all intellectual property rights in the content you upload to Revent, or you have obtained the necessary rights to grant us a license for use. This includes the right to play, show and distribute your content.

The license you grant us is perpetual, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free and sub-licensable. This means that, even after you stop using Revent, we can continue to use your content as necessary for the operation of our services.

Intellectual property rights — comments

You can submit comments or suggestions related to Revent. Any comment you provide to us is not confidential, and we are free to use it without restrictions.

Our responsibilities

We will use reasonable care and skill to provide Revent, but we are not responsible for the following:

• The accuracy of any content uploaded by users, including event organizers or attendees.
• Service interruptions, internet availability, or errors in your device's connection to Revent.
• The actions of other users or third parties who may access or misuse your content.

Termination of services

You can delete your account at any time by contacting hello@getrevent.com. Once your account is deleted, you will no longer have access to your content, and active subscriptions or tickets will be canceled.

We reserve the right to investigate any misuse of the platform and to cooperate with law enforcement in the investigation of illegal activities.

Limitation of liability

We and our subsidiaries, employees and agents will not be responsible for any loss of profits or business interruption or damage resulting from the use of Revent. Our total responsibility for any claims that arise out of or relate to your agreement with us is limited to the total fees you have paid us.

Applicable law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Colombia. Any dispute or claim related to your agreement with us must be brought before the courts of Colombia.

Pending company registration. Revent's company registration is in progress. Once it completes, these Terms must name the registered entity, its country of registration and its company office location in "Interpretation" and "Who we are", and the governing-law section must be confirmed against that registration.
